Ingredients
(Lentil Balls)
1/2 Cup Lentils
1.5 Cup Water
3 Mushrooms - Sliced
2 Stalks Cerery - Sliced
1 Cup Walnut
1 Tbs Carwari Organic Extra Virgin Sesame Oil (for sauté the vegetables and pan fry the balls)
(Sauce-1)
(Sauce-2: Black Tahini Sauce)
20ml Lemon Juice
20ml Water
A pinch of Sea Salt
Method
Make lentil balls. Heat Extra Virgin Sesame Oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the veggies with Japanese Spicy Seasoning and cook for a few minutes.
Put lentils and stir. Then add water and bring to boil. Once it's boiled cover and simmer over low heat until lentils are tender and water has evaporated (20-25 minutes). Remove from the heat and let it cool.
After the mixture is slightly cooled, place it into a food processor. Add walnuts and Sesame Flour and process for 5 seconds. Add Thick Barbecue Sauce and process a few more seconds.
Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and form into bite-sized balls.
Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat and add Extra Virgin Sesame Oil. The pan fry the balls. Shake the pan gently a few times and brown all over. (for 4-5 minutes)
Serve with fresh vegetables, Pickled Red Cabbage , Carwari Organic Japanese Style Worcestershire Sauce Rich & Mild and Black Tahini Sauce.
