4 or 5 small apples (400-500g) - cored and chopped
4 TBS Carwari Organic Mirin
(Crumble Topping)
40g Almond Meal
1 to 2 TBS Carwari Organic Agave Nectar Dark
30g Vegan Butter
40g Carwari Organic Maple Almond -roughly chopped
Method
Preheat oven to 160C fan-forced.
Put cored & chopped apples, Mirin, Agave Nectar in a skillet over low-medium heat. Add Miso Powder and cook for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, to make crumble. Put all of the crumble ingredients except Mayple Almonds into a mixing bowl. Using your fingertips, rub the vegan butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture looks like breadcrumbs. Add chopped Mayple Almonds and mix.
Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the cooked apple.
Bake for 10 - 15 minutes.
