Ingredients
(Okonomiyaki pancakes)
40g Rice Flour
3 Tablespoons Carwari Organic White Dashi
2 Eggs
2-3 Tablespoons Water
300g Zucchini - Grated
Green Shallot - Chopped
200g Chopped Thawed frozen prawns
(Oil for cooking)
(Okonomiyaki Sauce)
(Topping )
Okonomiyaki Sauce (Mix the above "Okonmiyaki Sauce" ingredients well.)
Japanese Mayonnaise
Chopped green shallot
Katsuo-bushi (Dried Bonito flakes)
Method
Put all of the pancake ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
Heat a pan and put 1/2 tablespoon of oil. Pour a quarter of the batter and cook over medium heat for 7-10 minutes or the edge of the okonomiyaki becomes firm and cooked.
Flip it over with 2 flippers and cook over additional 5- 7 minutes or the bottom side is brown. Slide it out onto a serving platter. Repeat process with remaining okonomiyaki mixture.
Put the okonomiyaki sauce and mayonnaise and sprinkle your favourite garnishes.
